We had a fantastic show at The Bitter End last night! Thank God!!! It really was fun and a bunch of our friends showed up and people we didnt know came too! The band was in fine form. Today we got a call from The Bitter End to re-book a show. Were going to be there two weeks from today on Tuesday, July 6th from 9:30-10:30p.m. We had a photographer taking pictures last night so well have new shots to use for our promotion and press. We also had some photographers there that we didnt know and we got to see some of their shots, they came out good! We passed out about 30 live cds from our last show at The C Note. We put Old Train Blues, Full Moon Rising, and Stay Together on the live cd. Yeah, were starting something. It felt so good to have a good show. Weve had good shows before but the feeling never wears out. I said to someone earlier that day that doing this as your lifes work is very hard and if it isnt fun then, what are you doing it for? It has to be more fun than anything else at least when youre performing or all that work that it takes to make a performance happen isnt worth it. Well, as I was singing and rocking with my band last night to our CROWD I told myself, yep this is completely worth it! The audience was having fun! We helped bring fun and excitement to a room that was virtually empty before we got up there to play our original music! That is a fantastic feeling. JessicaTuesday, June 22, 2004

Greetings lovelies! I went to The Cutting Room tonight for the Monday night jam and it was really fun. My friend Darin Chumbley came to take pictures of me performing and that was cool. All the groovies were there jamming. Two days from now were playing at The Bitter End! Mark your calendars and come to the show! Wednesday, June 23rd from 10-11pm!!! Im so happy with my band. They keep learning new songs and we are consistently expanding our set list. Lets see& We are going to play CBs 313 Gallery on Friday, July 23rd for a City Canyons Records showcase. That is also going to be very cool. It will be our first time playing there. Im moving to Brooklyn in a week! Yep, out of Manhattan and into Brooklyn. Were going to live very close to Prospect Park over in Park Slope. I like it over there. It feels kind of friendly. Prospect Park is really big and beautiful. There are a lot of places to play over there too. Now Im going off on a ramble& So, Madonna played or is playing Madison Square Garden and it was sold out a long time ago. I never heard that she was going to be there until I heard it for the first time and that same first time I heard about it, it was already sold out. How did people hear about it? How did she sell all those seats out without publicizing it? Hmmm& Im sure the answer is simple but it reminds me a lot of when I was in high school in my first year there and on the way home on the bus my friend asked me what home work I had and I was like, home work? What home work? She had the same class that I did but somehow I had no idea that there was home work assigned. I guess it just depends on what youre paying attention to. Is this too far out there for you? Its really not that far out. Ive been told that Im pretty far out in the way that I link ideas and concepts together but they make sense to me! When it doesnt make sense to you and youre still spouting it, then youre far out! I hope you all are getting what you want out of your lives. You never know how long you have so GO GET IT NOW!!! Even if youre around til youre one hundred, youll have done what you wanted to do and you wont regret those things, you can move on to different things that you want to do. Alright, goodnight my lads and lasses, Jessica StarMonday, June 14, 2004

It's an overcast day here in Gotham but I can feel that things are GOING ON!!! Over in Northern California this past weekend they had the Health and Harmony Festival which some of my good friends produced. Lost At Last played for the Saturday night dance (check them out if you ever get the chance)... I missed it two years in a row but that makes sense being that I live all the way across the United States. I've played at that festival for a few years...We played two shows this past Saturday night (the same night the Health and Harmony was going off) at The C Note from 7-8pm in the East Village and The Orange Bear down in the Financial District from 10-11:30 or so. It was fun! We had the full band for the first show including Jared Booty and just our quartet for the second show which was totally awesome. Guido, our man on the keys, took over and ripped up the wallpaper in the venue! Dave solidly kept us rocking at the steady time and 'cash covered the bottom end with his bass. We've started recording our shows and soon we're thinking of having these live recordings available for you, the listener! From the Orange Bear show we got another show! Trebor Lloyd was in the audience (City Canyon's Records) and he asked us to play a show coming up on July 23rd with them at CBGB's 313 Gallery (which is called CB's 313 Gallery) so, of course we said YES!!! So, things are moving along very well for us and we're enjoying the journey which is the entire point right? I wish you all unlimited inspiration and the means to make your dreams come true!!! It's Sunday morning here in Manhattan and it's raining. This city has been reminding me of Portland, Oregon lately, at least weather-wise! We're getting ready to move to Brooklyn which I'm very excited about! Prospect Park is awesome! There's an amazing food co-op also over there with great health food at fantastic prices! What do you think of these twirling stars on my webpage? Do you like them or are they passe'? I think they're pretty cool! Obviously, I don't have much going on in my noggin' this morning, I'm still drinking my first cup of joe! This coming weekend we have two shows on Saturday night! 7-8 at The C Note and 10-11 at The Orange Bear~ both in the city. Alright, I'm out of here! Jessica
